Yaborough Green Development Project

Overview

The Yaborough Green was part of the Yaborough Cemetery which was donated by James Dundas Yaborough in 1787. Part of the cemetery was dedicated to Basketball Court and another part to a football field. Part of the mission under the Downtown Rejuvenation Project was to improve on open spaces including Yaborough ; therefore, the basketball court and the football field were rehabilitated so that the community could continue to enjoy these open spaces for generations to come.
